Kipper Sailing's 5 day RYA Practical Day Skipper Courses teaches you navigation, pilotage, seamanship and boat-handling up to the standard required to skipper a small cruising yacht safely by day in tidal waters.
Holders of the RYA Day Skipper Course Completion Certificate are normally able to charter sailing yachts in the UK and overseas and can apply to the RYA for an International Certificate of Competence.
Covers all the practical skills necessary to skipper a small yacht by day including: preparation for sea; deck work; pilotage; engine checks; emergency situations; passage making; handling under & power.
